The Kent Immunisation Team will be visiting on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th January
Posted on: 09.01.25The Kent Immunisation Team will be visiting on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th January to deliver the Meningococcal ACWY (MenACWY) & Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio (Td/IPV) Vaccinations. All students in Year 9 are now eligible to receive the MenACWY and Td/IPV vaccinations, plus students in Year 10 and 11 who have missed their vaccinations previously.
Please discuss this immunisation with your child and complete the following: Online Form before midnight on 21/01/2025 to let us know if you would like your child to receive the vaccine. By submitting a form, you will be entered into a prize draw and the chance for you and your child to both to win a £50 Amazon voucher each.

Due to the reported significant increase in Measles cases, with more than double the number of confirmed cases in the first half of 2023 compared to the previous year. The Immunisations Team will also be delivering the MMR vaccine when they are here at Thamesview on the 27th and 28th January. The Immunisation Service will be in contact with parents directly via email or text message and telephone call if your child is showing an incomplete MMR vaccination status (2 doses). If you feel your child has missed one of these vaccinations, please check your child’s ‘Child Health Record Book’ (Red Book). If you do not have access to your child’s red book or are unsure please contact the Immunisations Team on 0300 123 5205 or use text chat on 07700 140385.
