School Uniform from 29th JunePosted on: 18.06.20
I hope you are safe and your family remain safe and well at this time and that your child is enjoying receiving contact from their personal tutor.
I am writing to you to clarify the ongoing arrangements for school uniform for both the key worker students and the Year 10 and 12 teaching bubbles. I have received a number of emails from parents asking if students can be permitted to wear their P.E. kits whilst they are coming in to school.
We appreciate that this continues to be a difficult time for many parents and so we have made the decision to allow students to wear their P.E. kit, if necessary, when coming in to school from 29th June 2020 onwards.
Students in either the key worker group or in Year 10 will be allowed to wear either:
- School uniform – this includes school shoes but without a blazer
- P.E. kit – consisting of plain black/blue shorts or leggings or jogging bottoms and a plain white t-shirt or school Performing Arts t-shirt. Students wearing P.E. kit will also be permitted to wear trainers.
Students in Year 12 will be asked to continue to wear smart business dress, as per the Sixth Form dress code.
- Boys – Smart plain tailored trousers with a shirt
- Girls – Smart tailored skirt/trousers or a tailored dress (no leather or denim skirts). Blouses or smart tops to be worn with trousers/skirts.
I would like to thank you for your continued support and if you would like further clarification on this then please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
